Ponderings...

First, before I go into my ponderings, I would like to tell you about my experience at Hyundai today. I did go and had some work done on my Elantra. I was looking at the Hyundai Sonnata and a salesman came out asking if I needed any help. I told him what I wanted and he said it cost so much. There was an ad in the paper that was about 2 or 3 thousand dollars cheaper. I didn't gripe about the price since I wasn't buying one today. Griping about how much I have to pay will be dad's job when the time comes. Besides I have a trade in that's in good running order, it may have a scratch or two, but these guys try and make all they can, so I figure I can do the same. I'm just following their example.

I asked about the trip computer and it will tell me how many miles it took me to get from point a to point b. That was a disappointment. I want it to tell me how much gas I have left. It'll only do that on the more expensive model. Well I want it on the car I want. It doesn't come with what I want. Even if I don't get the trip computer, I still want the car. It's a 5 star car. It's a safe car, and if you knew my driving record you'd wonder why I still drive.

Now for my ponderings.

You know all the mini food that is for us to eat? Mini m&m's, mini muffins, snacks like that? You know, smaller food. Anything with "mini" in front of it, is smaller. Small food. I have an idea. Why don't we make smaller dollar bills and smaller coins, mini money and pay for it with that? These are the kinds of things that go through my mind sometimes.

If you don't comment on both things I'll post the one you don't comment on again until you do.

I do have a cute post somewhere on here that I can post when you guys think its time to post again and I can't think of anything to say. I just have to remember to post it.

I hope you get the car you want -- WITH the trip computer if at all possible.

I love mini foods. I don't feel as guilty about eating more of them.:-)

Don't take anything less than what you want. Car sales people are notoriously slick.

If the coins get to small I will lose them through the hole in my pocket...

It's important not to let the trip computer influence your choice of a car. As long as the care you choose can do O - 100 in 6 seconds, then it's a good car.
I suggest you don't think too much about mini-money, have you thought about colored money - we have it in Australia?

mini money .... would that be worth less too? i'd probably loose it.\ though.
good luck when it comes to netotiating for that car. hope you get what you want.
i just want a car that doesn't shake rattle and roll.

You're funny.
I know nothing about cars, of course, except they will swindle you if they can, so bring your game face.
And as for mini money, I'm not sold on the idea. We already have too much coin if you ask me, it's hard enough keeping track of regular sized money!

Serena, Thank you about the car. The trip computer is possible.

I haven't thought about mini foods in that light before.

Phos, you are totally right about those car salespeople. They are slick.

I haven't thought that way about mini money.

Lex, it's also a very safe car. It gets 5 stars. It's a good car.

I like colored money.

Foam, Mini money should be the same amount as big money.

I hope you get a car that's quiet. When will you go shopping for one?

Jay, Thank you for enjoying my story. Thank you for visiting.

I don't know much about cars, either. I do know the car I want is a safe one.

Sometimes it is hard to keep track of money.

Hyundai makes a good car. Kias aren't bad either.

Beware of car dealerships they are the biggest crooks outside of Washington DC

farm animals
are not allowed
to drive vehicles
of any kind in canada,
regardless of how many stars they have -- however, sometimes we let our animals 'pretend drive' bbq's with wheels, an activity they seem to enjoy greatly, especially the lambs

as to small money, i've not really thought about it before... but now that you mention it, i still don't

what we really could use here is big money -- dollar bills the size of dinner placemats, for example, that better reflect the value of canadian vs US currencies

/t.

I think /t is on to something. I've seen some Chinese bills the size of the place mats /t is on about. Women would be throwing themselves at you when you whipped out that bankroll!!!

Carmen, SUV's are good too.

When I say small money, I mean mini money.

Hammer, I love my Elantra. I'm sure I will love my future Sonata, too. Car dealership people are crooks and will take you for everything you have.

/t., farm animals? How else am I supposed to get around? Driving a bbq is insane. Try it sometime. Canadian and American money. Your stuff is more expensive in Canada.

Phos, money as big as placemats, interesting concept.

Why not get a mini car to eat your mini food in and pay for it with mini money? You could have lamb cutlets!! They are mini!

Mr. Dog! You are a dog! Eat my own kind!? That would make me a cannible.
