MATTHEW 11:28 – 30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

WHAT DO THESE WORDS MEAN?
Come – To go where one is being called.
Labour – Toiling; to bestow labor; to work.
Laden – Burden, load of care.
Rest – This is not a rest from work, not the rest of inactivity, but of the harmonious working of all the faculties and affections – of will, heart, imagination, conscience, because each has found in God the kind of sphere for its satisfaction and development.
Yoke – Serving to couple two things together is used metaphorically of submission to authority, of Christ’s “yoke” not simply imparted by him but shared with Him.
Learn – To increase one’s knowledge; not simply the doctrine of Christ, but Christ Himself, a process not merely of getting to know this person but of so applying the knowledge as to walk differently from the rest of the Gentiles.
Meek – Gentle; mild.
Lowly – Humble.

I really like this picture. I found it at Little Lamb's Dyckersonville forum. East Coast Producer put it on there and I asked him if I could use it here and he said yes. He posted it after he told me not to talk back to Dyck and I said ok. It's like he's rewarding me for being cooperative.

I would really like to find a way to make it permanent. If you can help me, please let me know.

I am now a moderator at Dyckersonville forum. I call it Little Lamb's Dyckersonville just to give mighty Dyckerson a hard time. He is so much fun to have a good time with. I pick on him unmercifully. He's good for that. Join in the fun at the forum. The link is in my side bar.

Dyckerson for President...

He is a personal online friend of mine. If I were you I'd find out what he stands for first before voting for him. He is not affiliated with any party as of yet Two differnt forums, Police hub (See link in sidebar), and medialine (www.medialine.com) are supporting him. You will have to ask him what he stands for. His blog is also in my sidebar and I'm also part of his network. This guy is a real trip.

I said I love horses and here is yet another picture I found online. I'd love to claim this horse is mine. Alas, it is not, I found this pictture somewhere on the internet. I use this as my wallpaper on my computer. If the owner of this horse does stop by here, I'd like you to email me and let my know about this horse if you don't mind.

How I used to feel about cops and why and how I feel about them now...

When I was growing up I was afraid of cops. Why you ask? Because of what I saw on TV. Sometimes they showed cops in a good lighyt, such as on Dragnet and Adam-12. But as I got older I saw movies like Serpico, which implied all cops were bad except one. That movie was supposed to be a true story, I don't know if it was or not. In movies cops were always the bad guys. I was afraid of them.

Cops aren't all bad though. One time I was running for a bus and ran right into a light pole. It got in my way. It was between me and the bus I was trying to catch. My eye was all bloody,I was hurt and upset. A cop was around. Good thing, He brought me to the hospital in his cruiser. That was nice. I had never been in a police car before.

I used to work in a Discount Department store. I used to ride my bike there everyday. I locked it up out front. People saw that bike there all the time, now whether they paid attention to it or not is a different story.

Well, one day peopole were standing right by my bike waiting. I thought that was very strange. It kind of freaked me out that two or three people were watching me. They may have asked me to wait, I don't remember. I rode off because I just didn't feel safe. I thought no more about it. Then one day I was being paged to the front of the store. I didn't know why. So I went. A cop asked me about my bike. I wsa yelling and screaming at him. The cop did not understand why I was so upset. A woman I worked with was there also and she explained to the cop that that bike was my only transpertation. After a while I calmed down and he explained to me a girl's bike got stolen and it looked just like mine. I did not steal that bike.

A few years afterwards the same thing happens, except this time the cop was following me around talking to me at work. He saw the bike and I said something about me having a basket for the bike and showed it to him. It was the same exact bike and basket that was stolen. That cop left, but he came back the same day and we were talking about it again. He was finally convinced I didn't steal that bike and basket. Two times the same thing happened. Who would have thunk that could happen? No, I didn't steal anything. At all. Ever. I'm a good girl, or at least I try to be.

One time at work at a different job a man came where a bunch of us were working in the back where customers are not allowed asking to see my supervisor alone. They went outside to talk. I thought I heard some screaming but didn't pay attention and I should have. Next thing I know, they're gone! I found out later that she was taken to the polce station and detained becasue she suypposedly stole something out of her boyfriends apartment. She never found this out. A friend of hers called the police station and asked what happened. The friend had to tell her. Go figure. If I'm being hauled off to jail I at least want to know first instead of somebody else.

And also we always told the cop to write himself a ticket if we saw him going fast.

Now how did I come to like cops?

I was at a Christian forum pozting and met up with a cop. I told him some of what's on this site. He belonged to a cop forum and he told me about it. So I went there and asked questions. I got answers. I commented on how cops were bad. I found out not all cops are bad. Just some. You get bad people in all professions. In the cop profession its no different. Its bad when they blast it all over the news how a cop made a mistake. You get bad people in all professions.

I now go to Police Hub. Citizens and cops can get to know each other. It's really nice. Here's the website if you want to check it out.
