You now have enough partidges to have a nice dinner. A little rubbed sage on them while roasting and you are good to go.

btw, i see you've made christmas decorations out of the lambs -- excellent! -- this will be the best christmas post ever! it is a good one, little lamb

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

/t. the lambs are for decoration purposes ONLY!!!! They are NOT for eating.

being an english teacher, i cannot keep up with your math,

but
i
do know

it's quite crowded here.

and hence, time to eat and decrease the surplus population!

the partridges are quite good for roasting - phos has an excelent recommendation, though i suggest a little rosemary as well as the sage.

pear slices and fresh spinach salad (with a honey-mustard vingarette) is quite lovely and would make a nice accompaniement (sp?) with the roasted partridges (phos -what kind of stuffing?).

i do not recommend the calling birds for any sort of meal. they are too valuable - they make excellent, ahem, er...calling cards.

now tell me, how many gallons of milk did the maids a-milkin' net you?

and is it
sheep milk?
goat's milk?

flap/flap/swoosh!

Lamby, first of all, you NEVER mentioned before that you have a "true love". What? Have I just wasted the past 6-months?

Secondly, this "true love" of yours sounds like an absolute loonie (no offense, /t. ... this was not intended to be a slap at Canada's waterfowl or its "currency"). Nothing like having a whole lot of useless crap around the house, as a result of XMAS impulse purchases.

Lastly, just wait until you're sober, and the Visa bill arrives in January.

Maybe I'm just way too practical for this to have ever worked out.

Bird, so you teach English. I never can kerep track of subjects of sentences and that type of thing. I may understand more English than I think I do.

Yes, it is quite crowded here. I don't think I've ever eaten partridges. That pear spinach salad you spoke of sounds good. Gotta try that.

I don't know how many gallons the maids of milking are doing. I don't even know if its sheeps milk, do sheeps give milk? Or goats milk or cow's milk.

Pug, You were chasing me all this time? With all the flirting you've done with every female that's crossed your path?

But you've got to admit he's RICH with lots of money. My kind of guy.

not
a packrat,
tho others in
my family are, and
they tend to keep stuff long past its usefulness -- am forever throwing out junk from here, but as soon as i do, i need it again within a day -- why, oh why must it be this way?

hey, that would be a good title for a blog!

That's why mom kept everything. I guess she kept what she may need in the future. She didn't keep stupid stuff. I keep stupid stuff.

why oh why must it be this way wound be a good title to a blog. Maybe, just maybe someone will come up with that title.

Again and again, getting the same thing each day of Christmas! That's like getting a box of cigars for Father's day.

Little Lamb said...

Plus you get an additional gift each day.

SO much stuff for Christmas- so little room! :)

Hope that true love of yours rents you a storage building! (except for the jewelry- that will go nicely in a drawer somewhere! :)

Little Lamb said...

I hope so too, Mayden. They'll need lots of food, too. I'll keep the jewelry in a safe place. :)
