Seymour and the Three Lambs...

A story of Seymour and the Three Lambs -- Frankenlamb, Dolly7, and Little Lamb

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Seymour. He went for a walk in the forest. Pretty soon, he came upon a house. He knocked and, when no one answered, he walked right in.

At the table in the kitchen, there were three bowls of porridge. Seymour was hungry. He tasted the porridge from the first bowl.

"This porridge is too hot!" he exclaimed.

So, he tasted the porridge from the second bowl.

"This porridge is too cold!" he said

So, he tasted the last bowl of porridge.

"Ahhh, this porridge is just right!" he said happily and he ate it all up.

After he'd eaten the three lambs' breakfasts he decided he was feeling a little tired. So, he walked into the living room where he saw three chairs. Seymour sat in the first chair to rest his feet.

"This chair is too big!" he exclaimed.

So he sat in the second chair.

"This chair is too big, too!" he whined.

So he tried the last and smallest chair.

"Ahhh, this chair is just right!" he sighed. But just as he settled down into the chair to rest, it broke into pieces!

Seymour was very tired by this time, so he went upstairs to the bedroom. He lay down in the first bed, but it was too hard. Then he lay in the second bed, but it was too soft. Then he lay down in the third bed and it was just right. Seymour fell asleep.

As he was sleeping, the three lambs came home.

"Someone's been eating my porridge!" growled Frankenlamb.

"Someone's been sitting in my chair!" growled Frankenlamb.

"Someone's been sitting in my chair!" said Dolly7.

"Someone's been sitting in my chair and they've broken it all to pieces!" cried Little Lamb.

They decided to look around some more and when they got upstairs to the bedroom, Frankenlamb growled, "Someone's been sleeping in my bed!"

"Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too!" said Dolly7

"Someone's been sleeping in my bed and he's still there!" exclaimed Little Lamb.

Just then, Seymour woke up and saw the three lambs. He screamed, "Help!" And he jumped up and ran out of the room. Seymour ran down the stairs, opened the door, and just then Frankenlamb scooped him up. He held Seymour with both hands and looked him straight in the eye and asked, "What are you doing in this house?" Seymour was frightened by Frankenlamb, Dolly7 and Little Lamb all staring at him.

Seymour was shaking he was so scared. Dolly7 asked to hold him. Frankenlamb handed him over. Seymour tried to get away. Little Lamb wanted a turn. When she had Seymour he seemed to calm down a bit, but not quite. Sbe talked to him soothingly. They became fast friends and Seymour confessed how he came to be in their house.

Seymour and the lambs became fast friends and Seymour became their trusted shepherd and guard turtle.

Exposed plot flaw: a turtle in the forest? Not likely!

Good story though.

Thank you, /t.

Pug, Seymour is not your average turtle. He's prone to wander looking for the lambs.

Photogguy, me too.

Lex, you said Seymour is cute.

Your story has a much better ending :)

cute
story
but it
could be better
with a reference to satanic ritual animal sacrifice and mutilation, and drinking of blood, for color

Thank you, Mayden. And it leaves room for more stories.

/t., that would scare the lambs. They have feelings, too.

And what's wrong with that? It was a good movie. One of the lambs read the book.

that
movie
is good,
but might be
a bit intense for some of the younger lambs

The lamb who read it, warned the younger lambs and they, the younger ones, wanted to see it, but mama lamb said no.
