Interesting Day at Work...

We actually had an exciting day at work today. I can't believe it! Normally it's the same thing day in and day out, very extremely boring. Today was not like that. It started out to be, but didn't end up that way.

About an hour or so before lunch someone was screaming and yelling loudly. We didn't catch what they were saying right away. I thought this person was having a fight with someone. So I perked up my ears to listen to what was going on. What was being said was "There's a fire in the store! THERE'S A FIRE IN THE STORE!" We've been told what to do if this should ever happen. We were told to go into the store. We all wanted to see what was going on. It was all smoky in there. We were going to leave through the front door. We didn't do that then because someone said it was just a fire extinguisher that went off. So we went back to work.

I work in the back room. All the back room doors were open so we could get rid of the smoke that was in the store.

Someone called the main office and told them what was going on. They said for everyone to leave the building. We did through the store. But I went to the break room to get my lunch. No telling how long we'd be waiting to find out what our next move would be. Everything was ok after two hours so we went back to work.

I only hear about stuff like this happening. I've never experienced it.

Where is Little Lamb???

Once upon a time in Blogland, Little Lamb started her very own blog. She made blog friends. She followed her blog friends all around Blogland. She visited their blogs and they visited hers. She was happy knowing her friends. She even found some of her blogfriends at MySpace and Facebook. She liked keeping in touch.

And then one day Easter came and went and no sign of Little Lamb. Where has Little Lamb gone? She hasn't been visiting very many of her blog friends. Where is she? Is she ok?

Little Lamb is fine. She found TV. She watches Survivor, Celebrity Apprentace, and Harper's Island. Two reality shows and a show that's like a horror movie where people get killed every week. The murderer will be revealed on the last show sometime in July. She also watches America's Most Wanted and the news. She goes to work and church.

In fact this is her writing this and I can't stop talking like I'm writing about her.

I'm fine everybody. I'm still here. I've just been very lazy blogging. So what else is new? What have all of you been up to?

Road Kill and Vultures...

I was on my way to things outside of the home. As I was going about my business, I saw a lone vulture, in the middle of the street. I said to self, Oh rats! I don't have my camera! I then realized I had my cell phone and proceeded to take a picture of the vulture in the middle of the street. Once I got to my destination, I looked to see if the picture came out. It didn't. I was very disappointed. Photobucket I decided on my way home I would check to see if the vultures were still there. They were! Photobucket I went home and put my groceries in the frig as fast as I could and went back to where the vultures were with my camera which needed batteries that I took with me. These are the shots I got.

Poor dead animal that was getting eaten. I think they were taking turns eating it.

The vultures were on someone's roof as you can see.

I bet they were wondering what I was doing.

I wonder if this was the one earlier this morning that I had to go around. He was in the middle of the road and I had to go around him. He wouldn't move, but after I passed him he went to his friends on the side of the road. I was in my car then.

All of these pictures I took I was out in the open. They could have attacked me. I didn't know how close they would allow me to get so I kept my distance. I didn't want to scare them. They vomit if you do.
