Pictures I have taken...

I've been wanting a picture of a rainbow taken by me. One day when I was traveling, I saw a rainbow and said, "Oh! A rainbow!" I got out my camera and snapped this shot. I love having my camera with me!

We had a full moon on the night this picture was taken. I figured I had my camera so why not? I just got home so I took this picture. There is also another round thing above the moon. I've been told that round thing is the planet Venus.

Ok, ok...

I'll do the meme. Boneman helped me with this. Actually he put it together.

Me speaking up and sticking up for myself...

I don't like doing meme's. Please don't expect me to do any more. Sandy has asked me to post 10 of my favorite pictures. I don't have 10 favorite photos or pictures. I am not going to do it.

Little Lamb and Baby Lamb

I'm experimenting with video's. I did this one around Easter as you can tell. I recently learned how to do this.

Meme...

Pink has picked me for a Meme.

The rule are:

-- Pick five CDs for the trip.

-- Pick three essential items.

-- Pick one outrageous wardrobe item (something that will make you stand out at a party; you must own this item already).

CD's - I like gospel music. I love Ray Boltz and have a lot of his CD's. A Bill and Gloria Gaither CD. I also love patriotic music and have a patriotic CD by Lee Greenwood. I would listen to that type of music on the trip.

Essential items - My Bible, my cell phone, and my camera.

Ok, now for the wardrobe item. Probably my red white and blue flag jacket. It better be kind of cool at this party.

I will pick 3 people to do this.

Things kids eat...

Once upon a time in blogland, the other day Serena Joy visited my blog. I visited her blog in return. She had a video of Mr. Bill. I remember him from Saturday Night Live. I watched the video. You have to feel sorry for him because he's always getting picked on. For example:

Serena posted having lunch with Mr. Bill. I didn't want to show the same one. I commented on her lunch. I went back to read the comments a few days later and found these comments from other bloggers.

Pug said: I love Mr. Bill !

I think there's a little Mr. Bill in all of us. Especially me. I ate a LOT of Play Doh as a pup. In fact, that might explain a couple of other things ...

Serena said: I don't know how much Play Doh I ingested, but that might explain my Bill Love. Oooooooooo! Nooooooooooooo!:-)

This got me thinking about what I put in my mouth as a little lamb. Whatever was in my hand would find its way to my mouth. I ate play dough, paste, glue, paper, crayons, whathaveyou.

Another quirk...

3 - I can be very argumentative if things don't go my way or the way I think things should go or be done. What I have to realize is we all have ways of doing things differently.

4 - /t. doesn't listen when I tell him something. He totally ignores some stuff I say and it's annoying.

5 - I like to be alone yet I like to be around people.

6 - I like silence.

If you want to do this meme, go ahead. /t. won't do it the right way.

Ruela selected me to do this meme. His blog is here.

Quirks...

These are the rules:

1. Link the person(s) who tagged you…

2. Mention the rules on your blog

3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours...

4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them…

5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged...
________________________________________________________________

1 - I'm not a people person, yet there are times I need to be around people.

2 - There are times I can be very outspoken. Whether its the right time to say something or not, I say what's on my mind.

Right now, that's all I can think of. So the other 4 will just have to wait until I can come up with something.

This is a picture of me that Boneman drew for me completing my Office Skills Class. I think he did a very good job. He makes me look happy.

Here is a picture of us going for a ride in the truck. We're on our way to find Pink and her group. To understand the group I mean you'll have to check out Boneman's blog. Click here.

Who knew?

I got this in my email...

My nephew sent this to me and I sure did not know it. I never read the ends of the box. Duh!!

Bet you'll go to your kitchen to check this one out. I did. I had to go into the kitchen and check this out for myself. Who ever looks at the end of your aluminum foil box? What a fantastic idea. Now, if someone would just make plastic wrap that didn't stick to itself.

I've been using aluminum foil for more years than I care to remember. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know, like when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time (like when you're using it. LOL)

Written on the end of the box it said, Press here to lock end?. Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had one too! I can't count the number of times the Saran warp roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up. I'm sharing this with my friends that did not know this.
"I checked with Reynolds wrap and they said the tabs on the end of the box started in 1996."
If you all ready know this, delete this message and don't e-mail me and make me feel dumber than I already feel. If you didn't know this, e-mail me and let me know so I won't feel so dumb. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know about this.
