WARNING!!!

Just heard on the news that Florida could be sunned-in for the next several days. Residents have been urged to hunker down at your nearest beach and/or tiki bar for further instructions. Use extreme caution when braving this blizzard of sunshine, preferably SPF30. We are asking our friends and relatives to the north to please keep us in their thoughts as we deal with 2 feet buried in the sand.

If there's a need for thongs, just say so. We have an abundence of shoestrings up here...I'm sure something can be done.

just HANG ON!
We're comin'!

who wants sunshine and warmth when you can have an invigorating cold and wet day with the potential for freezing at night.

Boney, sounds like a plan!

Foamy, what was I thinking?

You too Lamby dear, we have had record high temperatures and one wouldn't venture outside without wearing SPF30 and a hat.
No use going to the beach, there is no room on the sand or in the water and besides it is burning hot ... so I have just been sticking close to the fan at home. Went swimming in a pool last night that was so refreshing and this afternoon the temperature actually dropped below 30ÂșC.
I have a beach umbrella, plenty of sunscreen and shades if you need me to send them up to you!

We have to have the fans on at work.

I thought your country was having monsoons.

Lots of sun here too, but not for long. It looks as though we might get some rain mid-week. No worries, I love the rain and since this is a desert any precip is appreciated.

Little Lamb said...

At least we don't have to put up with snow!

The Phosgene Kid said...

No snow, just sharks, eh?

Little Lamb said...

Oh, those. I forgot about them. But yeeh we have sharks.

What is one to do?

The weather is all out of control dear Lamby, New South Wales is having record high temperatures, Queensland is flooding and being hit by monsoons and some flooding in parts of Victoria. Every day seems to bring some new disaster.

That's not good.
