Vacation...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Little Lamb is on vacation. She is sitting around playing solitaire and being lazy. She'ws having the time of her life. When the mood strikes her, she even cleans her room a bit.

She decided she was going to get a flu shot so she doesn't get the flu. She hates being sick. She called the local drugstore which is probably known across the United States. She called from her cell phone. She got an automated voice asking her all sorts of questions, none of which pertained to the flu shot. She was asked about the phone number she was calling from. The automated voice wanted to know if they had it on file. Little Lamb said she didn't know. She wondered to herself, if they know she's calling from the number she's calling from, why can't the voice just look it up? That's what gets these automated voices all shook up. They try to get a yes or no answer and don't get one, so then they let you talk to a real live honest to goodness person. They actually breathe air and eat food. Imagine that! I have to remember that just in case I have to talk to another live person.

Well, she got her flu shot, but the lady who gave it to her really gave it to her! LIttler Lamb was in tears it hurt so bad. That lady jabbed it into Little Lambs armn and it hurt after that. Little Lamb recovered nicely. She may select a different drug store for the swine flu shot.

She gets flu shots every year.

Why I told the story in the way I did, I have no idea.

A certain Pug noticed that a certain Little Lamb reverted to the 3rd person, er, lamb, and posted in the format of a fairy tale when she went on vacation. Although the Pug is crazy about Little Lamb, this annoyed him so much that he contacted the FDA and advised them that Little Lamb is trying to scam illegal narcotics from a certain national drug chain by exploiting a flaw in their "Integrated Automated Attendent / Computer Telephony" system. He then placed a call to Homeland Security to warn that a certain Little Lamb is a malicious Swine Flu carrier. Then the Pug sat back and watched CNN continuously for anticipated news of Little Lamb's imminent arrest.

Little lamb, it is just to say hi this comment, and whish you a nice vacation. do not worry about the flue swine, if you do the math it is very unlinkely probabilistically speaking that you get it.

Tell us how is it going over there

enjoy

Hi Marianna! I am enjoying my vacation. A few people have died in my county with the swine flu. I work with women who have school aged children, so I'm not taking any chances.

Well that is an interesting story Lil Lamby in a convoluted sort of way.
Why do you have to phone the drug store about your flu shot and get too many unrelated questions about your enquiry?
So who does give you your flu shot...a doctor or the pharmacist?
I'm sorry it hurt so much.
Aussie girl wants to know as I have no idea how things work in your country.
I wouldn't call about the 'swine flu' shot you might be asked all kinds of irrelevant questions pertaining to veterinary medicine. :/ ♥

I didn't have to phone the drug store, but I just wanted to make sure all the drug stores would be offering the flu shot at the same time the others did. I wanted to make sure.

It was the pharmacist who gave me the shot. That's probably why it hurt so much, they probably aren't used to giving shots.

I'm going to wait with the swine flu shot.

Thats a good idea Lamby, I would discuss it with your doctor first and make sure there won't be any adverse side effects. :-) ♥
