More pictures...

I saw this balloon on the way to work and wanted to get a picture of it. I couldn't do while I was driving. After I got to work it was right there, so I jumped out of the car and quick took my picture.

Today on the way to work, I almost ran over that brown bird. Then I saw a bunch of white birds in front of me and put the car in park and quick got my camera and started snapping pictures.

This one is a tad blurry because I was getting excited. Another car was trying to get by and saw me taking pictures.

it's obvious ..
you are the bird whisperer..

The bird whisperer, I like that.

You need a pellet gun. You could have shot down the balloon and had some brown bird stew for dinner.

as the bird whisperer you don't need a pellet gun.
you can just mosey on up to them, grab them by the neck and twist it ...
and then grill them ..
or something.

Phos, That's not nice!

Foamy, Oh horrors! Word will get around and then the birds will avoid me like the black plague!

Lovely photos Lamby dear, you pass through some nice places on your way to work.
I was just thinking how lovely and green that grass is and those birds are most likely enjoying some grass seeds and worms...they look like some kind of water bird with their long legs, similar to some birds we have here, near the river and mangroves.
Lovely balloon, not every day you see a hot air balloon. :) ♡

Thank you, Dianne. These are some of the sights we get to see here.

Indigo Incarnates

I've flown a hang glider and a parasail, but never a hot air balloon. I'd like to someday.

puerileuwaite said...

Admit it: you ran over a few in order to intimidate the others into posing.

Little Lamb said...

/t. I don't live in this neighborhood.

Indigo, I must admit, flying in a hot air balloon sounds like fun.

Pug, shhhhh don't tell anybody.

The balloon was flying and the birds were walking...is this change we can believe in?

I also noted that none of these birds had drumsticks worthy of grilling.

Are all the neighborhood birds anorexic?

Little Lamb said...

Hmmmm, good question and observation.

So, you jumped out of the car and took the picture?
Where did you take the picture to?

You do realize that if you take Foam's advice, you'll make great friends with the vultures.

d=))

Little Lamb said...

I took the picture home.

Good point on taking Foam's advice, but then they would only come to me for food.

boneman said...

ah, but at least they don't come at you for food...
(subtle difference, there, eh?)

I think you pull off some mighty fine pictures with the camera you use!
The walking vulture was so very cool...
The frog on the windshield...
the river...
the ospreys...

No, I'de say you do a fine job, Lil Lamb!
I expect you'de have to be one of those critters with a wooden leg.
Cause with a Lamb that good, you wouldn't want to eat her all at once

d=))

(just kidding...)

What a funny neighbourhood, kids must get exited all the time with so many beautifull things happening. I wanna go there with my mom!

Boney, thanks, all except for the wooden leg part. I like taking pictures.

MS, thank you.

Hi Lamby, I will soon be posting photos of some birds who visit my garden every day, I'm sure you will like them...but until then I am putting a link for an ad which started screening here recently, it is quite lovely with hot air balloons and it shows some of my country and my city.
I couldnt download it for you so just click on the videos with the hot air balloons . :) ♡

Dianne, the video didn't play very well, but I enjoyed the hot air balloons. I'm looking forward to seeing the birds that visit you. That should be nice.

/t. GASP!

dianne said...

Lamby dear, I'm sorry the video didnt play very well for you but I'm pleased you got to see the balloons...the birds will be coming soon. :-)
/t. dear my country is a great place, I didnt see the naked woman but I should have known you would have noticed the flames and a BBQ grill if one was there. :-) xo ♡

Little Lamb said...

I'd like to visit your country one day.

dianne said...

You would love it Lamby dear, no /t. and my BBQ doesn't work. :-) ♡

Little Lamb said...

And you have kangaroos and koalas, too!

The Phosgene Kid said...

Lots of vultures down here, but Mrs. Phos won't let me take pictures while I drive and I only seem to see them when I am behind the wheel. Probably not a good omen...

Little Lamb said...

While driving, it is never a good idea to take pictures. It's a better idea to stop the car and put it in park, and then get out of the car, then take the pictures.

so shouting out,
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!",
and jamming the gas pedal to the floor
while leaning half way out of the window and snapping away is not the recommended technique -- maybe this is why nobody wants to drive with me any more -- thanks, LL!

Little Lamb said...

/t. you don't drive.

dianne said...

Lamby dear there are some bird pics over at my blog like I promised if you would like to see them. ♡

Little Lamb said...
