Did you draw that Lil Lamby?, that is so darn cute, I love your woolly little dress. ♡ xoxo

Little Lamb said...

No, Boney sent me that picture.

dianne said...

Boney is very kind and thoughtful. ♡

Little Lamb said...

He is. A fellow bloger Jeanne found this on a notebook and sent it to Boney. He emailed me the whole notebook cover.

fantastic, really creative cartoon, i did like that idea a lot, although it is probably useless what the little guy is doing.
Who cares it is nice and it is not real life!

The little lamb is chopping up a pencil so you can't write anymore.

she looks
very suspiciously
like that destructive
little dolly7 swinging that axe

* * *

"careful with that axe, ewe-gene"

/t.

Little Lamb said...

That's Dolly's little sister. You better watch out! She knows how to use that axe!

Barnes and Noble bookstore.
That's where she found it, though on the sale table.
And, the ever optimist...
Could be that the lamb is going to pens (or found a new computer) and won't need the pencil anymore.

(or expects a cold Winter and is getting ready for it. Lord knows, I am)

Little Lamb said...

Or maybe that little lamb is tired of lamb recipes.

I've seen lumberjacks cut wood just like that in competitions. Must be a Northern Wisconsin lamb.

Little Lamb said...

This lamb can cut wood with the best of 'em!

Jean said...

I thought it looked like sweet Lil Lamb was helping Boneman chop wood for the cold winter. Sacrificing her pencil for a friend.
(Glad you like it.)

Little Lamb said...

Now there's an idea!

boneman said...

Sure.
I have extra axes, a huge pry bar to roll the logs (some of the trees were over a hundred years old) and later, iced tea and home made cookies i made myself...

(well, OK. You may want to bring your own cookies.)

Jean said...

May I have your cookies and some milk for dunking?

Little Lamb said...

We could have a party.

Little Lamb said...

Ok, fine! Be that way!

you know
how i detest
these dreary formal
gatherings in the pasture

with exception, of course, to the yuletide lighting of the christmas lamb

<3

Little Lamb said...

You don't have to come.

Anonymous said...

she does
cast a nice
warm glow over all

Little Lamb said...

Grrrr!

boneman said...

formal?

ok, well, how about shorts and light tops, because I'm burnt so bad...

(how bad are you burnt, boneman?)

well, I look like a yankee on his fourth day down there in Florida during December!

(that would be pretty red!)

you bet.
Red is a good description.

Little Lamb said...

/t. shouldn't be invited because he wants to eat the lamb.

boneman said...

maybe he just wants to taste you?

Anonymous said...

maybe

/t.

Little Lamb said...

that's what I'm afraid of.

boneman said...

hmmmm.
Three guesses what the guy in the picture (?) had for a pet...
(jeopardy music, please....)

Little Lamb said...

That proves /t. has been with other animals.

Speaking of chopping...

I've often wondered: there have been lots of chainsaw massacre movies, but no circular saw massacre movies. Do you think it's because of the extension cord limitation?

Little Lamb said...

I never thought of that. It could be.

Anonymous said...

i saw
a circular saw
movie called 'sew'
about clothing repair at sea

How much wood could a lamp chop chop, if a lamb chop could chop wood
