Pictures...

I was driving around looking for a beach and found this.

Do you see the bridge in the above picture? The beaches are over that bridge. I decided to go to that bridge and see what it was all about.

I found this under the bridge. That crow was there when I arrived.

As I got out he didn't fly away and as I was getting ready to take another shot of him, he flew away.

So I took this one instead.

As I was walking around I took this picture.

Which one do you think would make nice wallpaper for my computer?

Oh well, you know there just had to be a spoil sport, eh?
First off, that you got a picture of a raven is only half the story.
You do know they will follow you for a while, now, right?
Like the Indians, the ravens think you're stealing their soul when you take a picture of them
The only way to get them to stop following you is to honor the picture...like,

Carve a totem pole of a raven and your adventures with the bridge. or,
Paint a great painting of the Raven watching you.
or,
Make it your desktop wallpaper. I think that would count as OK. ☺

(is joke, girl)

Actually, is the trash can really chained up? Are times in Florida really so hard that they have to chain up trash cans?

(I do favor the bird picture, too.)

How did you get that little smiley in there?

boneman said...

☺?

Little Lamb said...

yeah, thanks! ☺

You know what I just figured out?
You were looking for a beach, you know. Probably set out a blanket on the sand, pop a picnic basket of veggies out for Dolly and Seymour and you, maybe pop a cork on a small bottle of wine, say, a 2004 Branham Petite Sirah, and then take off your shoes and walk on the sand....
but, those are rocks under the bird.
Has Florida sold all its sand to someone?
The playbox sand company, or something?

Little Lamb said...

I didjn't do that but I wanted to find the beach so I could take some pictures. That area with the rocks and bird was taken under the big bridge in the first picture. I'll go on another d4ive sometime and find out about the sand,

To my knowledge we should still have sand. I just have to look for it.

Indigo Incarnates

I'd go witht he second from the bottom.

There is something peaceful about a beach in autumn. There's fewer pesky humans there and you can just enjoy the feeling of the breeze and the rhythmic sounds of the breakers.

Little Lamb said...

/t., you brute! I didn't say I wanted sheepskin.

Anna-lys, I do. I love wallpaper.

Indigo, That's a good one, too.

Are You still driving around=

I hope Your car is not a lemon car but runs on Tampa bay citrus ethanol!

Little Lamb said...

Still driving. I'll have to look into the citrus ethenol. That sounds like it may have a good smell.

Best thing I can think of is the pink grapefruits.
I put sugar on my grapefruit, usually. Hate sour.
But, Florida Pink Grapefruit?
No sugar needed.

I stopped by because it suddenly occured to me why this post is haunting me.
You start off by saying you were
'driving around looking for a beach, and found this....'
So, did they let you take it hoe?
The bridge?
I mean, you know....
Finders keepers and all that....
Have you got a bridge back behind your building, now?

Ruela said...

nice pics LL
very good.

Little Lamb said...

Boneman, I prefer sweet grapefruit myself and always put sugar on mine.

Now about the bridge, it wouldn't fit in the trunk. I wonder what a lamb bridge would look like?

Ruela, thanks.

boneman said...

Well, first we have to get it to your place, and since it doesn't fit in your trunk...
Run a chain around one of the piers, and drag it back home.
Once you get it there, I think covewr it with dirt and plant grass all over it.
LOTS of grass.
Maybe naxt year, plant a palm tree or a date tree on it.

It'll look nice for you.

Little Lamb said...

Don't you think people will get suspicious when they can't cross the body of water anymore?

carmen racovitza said...

nope, LL..boneman is right...
let us be green for a while...(with envy??!)

hi, LL...;):)
