Pigs...

Pigs make good pets. I've never had a pet pig, but I hear they do make good pets.

I do like animals, but I also eat meat.

What about pigs being pets? You could have your own watch pig. You've heard of watch dog? Well now here's a watch pig.

CRAZY, LL!

BUT I LIKE IT!

An ice cave? Sounds interesting. I bet you don't need a refrigerator.

Awww. I WILL have a pot-bellied pig as a pet some day. Been a fan of pigs ever since seeing Arnold Ziffel on Green Acres.

The Phosgene Kid said...

They have Turducken, a turkey stuffed with a duck which is stuffed with a chicken. What about a Piglambken?

Little Lamb said...

..................... , all you think of pigs are food when they make good pets.

Cyberhostage, Wow! What a name! Aren't we all cyberhostages in reality?

I, too, enjoyed Arnold on Green Acres. See? Pigs can be pets.

Phos, Honestly!

I'm a vegetarian :)

I've heard that pigs are really nice critters to have as pets. We've already got two cats and a dog, so a pig is out. On the bright side, one of our cats is really chubby, so it's sorta like having a pig ;)

Little Lamb said...

Veggies are good for you and so is meat. But pigs can be cute.

..................... said...

actually, ironically, yesterday after school hours i perused a site with a colleague that had pigs for adoption. these were pet pigs that had been abandoned by their owners cause the cuteness wore off after they reached huge sizes.
i like pigs .. no doubt they make good pets. but folks have to know what they get into.

Little Lamb said...

Yes, piglets grow into pigs. Just think, you can get a pet pig and if it acts pigish, you can call it a pig and mean it! :-)

dianne said...

Apparently they are very intelligent and make very good pets and there are smaller breeds that dont grow as big as some do.
The piglets are really cute Lil Lambie, I like their blonde eyelashes. :) xoxoxo

The Phosgene Kid said...

With two huskies I wouldn't have a pet pig for very long.

Little Lamb said...

Dianne, thank you. I thought it was a cute picture myself.

Phos, I dunno, pigs are smarter than cats and dogs, so I hear.

Ruela said...

I love animals too
nice pair of sausages...

Little Lamb said...

Now we're cooking. but they do make good pets from what I hear.

Crashtest Comic said...

I prefer to eat lambs myself...or with a friend.

boneman said...

Well, pigs ARE smart.
I had a friend once with a pet pig.
Dang thing could fetch things if you pointed to them....

(uh...is it too soon to mention this?)
ok, well, I was digging over there when I saw a farmer walking by with a pig that had a wooden leg. A PIG with a wooden leg!
I asked him how that came about and he says, one day while he's plowing the fields (the farmer, not the pig) that his tractor overturned on him and had him pinned good! Gas was dripping, the engine was still running, it was all a sign of sure disaster. Well, sir, the pig saw the tractor and ran down the hill to save the farmer, fell several times down the steep hill where the guy lay under the tractor.
The pig grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled and pulled and pulled, and finally got him free, got him dragged to a safe distance when the tractor suddenly blew up, knocking the pig unconcious.
"WOW!" I say, "is that when he got his wooden leg?"
"No," said the farmer, and proceeded to tell me about how one night after everybody was asleep, a fire started inthe kitchen downstairs. Well that pig got a running start and jumped through the fron window and made enough ruckus to wake up folks in the next county. They put out the fire before it had done too much damage, and everybody was OK.
"Wow!" again, I was amazed. "Is THAT when he got the wooden leg?"
"Nope."
Dang it, some farmers are so tight lipped y'gotta peel everything out'a them....like a tight peeling on a tangerine.
"Well? How DID he get a wooden leg?"
"well, young feller," he drawled back at me, "when you got a pig THAT good, you don't want to eat him all at once...."

boneman said...

....by the way...you made your first cruise by, today.

Not fast enough for Foam to catch, but, your escort service caught up with you.
(you probably ran out'a gas.)

Little Lamb said...

Crash! You've come back!

Boneman, you said the same joke, but with a lamb I believe.

I'll have to stop by and see how the cruise went.

Little Lamb said...

Where is the cruise?

boneman said...

"Set L'il Lamb Free !"

Marching up and down the street to set you free!
Wow!
Of course, tey don't know I already got you bailed out. First Farm and Weather Report has NEVER let ons of their sponsors stay ovenight in jail.
And, we even brought your car back to your place, parked it behind your garage. I think it'll be OK with the keys in it. Seymour is watching it for you.

Your last statement is worrying me a bit, though.
I keep thinking of you chewing your back feet nails, then tasting just a little skin, then, next thing you know, You're in a wheelchair....

Well, just don't eat yourself to nothing, eh?
And, happy birthday!
Is it really your Birthday?

Anna-lys, Oh that's easy. One gets presents for one's birthday.

Anonymous said...

you're
supposed to think,
how wonderful for little dolly7...
/t. has made her so very happy with her own fire red lambo barbequedo! dolly7 and i are so fortunate to have a good friend like *kindly old /t.

¤ ¤ ¤

/t.

* no, not a typo -- that's kindly old /t., not kinky old /t.

Little Lamb said...

I haven't seen her for days, /t. She better be alive. If you hurt her in any way, I'll cry. And you'll have to live with a sad lamb. I'll be crying at your house day and night.

Anonymous said...

she just loves
her new lambo barbequedo
and won't even come out for counting at night... needless to say, i'm not getting much sleep! but she's fine, LL, and have the time of her life!

no need at all for tears <3

I think I'm going to drive (in my new car, of course, that you got for me)to your place and get ready for the tears, just in case.

boneman said...

don't worry, Lil Lamb.
Without opposing thumbs, they can't get a BBQ started with a lighter or matches....

Little Lamb said...

Ah, good point. if they try to cook me, I'll send them over to /t.'s

boneman said...

what?
You think they'de try to eat /t?

Oh, I see.
You'll send them over to get ideas on ligting the grill.
Dang!
That's pretty smart of you, Lil Lamb!
He can probably figure out some way to get them to fire up the grill....

GET'R'DONE!

Little Lamb said...

No, boney, you have it all wrong. I'd send them over to /t.'s so he can cook them instead of cooking lambs.

dianne said...

Lil Lambie /t. probably told Dolly 7 that the lambo barbequedo was a tanning bed and she thinks she is going to get a great sun-tan. Sun tanned alright, she'll be burned to a crisp! Save her Lambie, save her!!
:) xoxox

Little Lamb said...

Maybe you're right, Dianne. I should check on her.

ANNA-LYS said...
