THis is sad and so true. You would not believe how many people I have seen driving with ... I guess their knees out here in CA. Yeah. I almost got run over in the cross walk by a chick on a cell phone in one hand and a hamburger in the other who ran a red light. DID NOT STOP after almost bouncing me off her hood. We have something now called a Blue Ant (cell phone hands free blue tooth) in our car which we can't operate. We can't seem to make it let go of our cell phones at night. Our phone rings and the Ant answers it out in the car while we are in the house. Durn Ant.

I dunno. Take away their cell phones and next thing y'know, they're pulling a Doug.
Good guy, That Doug, but he would read his mail WHILE he was driving his DUMP TRUCK!
Scary because you're worried about the other people on the road and sidewalks....but then, seeing a dumptruck even wiggle on the road, I'm thinking 'Doug'....

I wonder when they're going to make laws about how low you can put your seat?
Or what colors you can't use on your car because that's like, really distracting, you know? When there's a naked lady painted on the side of a car or van.....
Y'can't help but to stare, but dang! At 80 MPH???

(no....)

and not only this, but he slows down traffic.

looking for the positive side of this, as he slows down the traffic, it gives the sheep a chance to get out of the way...

Actually, I'm in favor of this law. Cell phone drivers are a plague everywhere. Santa Fe has had this law for a few years now, and it seems to be a step in the right direction.

On a different note, don't try hot-tubbing while in transit. Don't ask me how I know.

I thought it was funny.

Hmmm... The things I do while driving: talk on the cell phone, texting, chatting on MSN Mesenger, reading email, replying to email, reading blogs, posting blogs, and reading the news. Yay!!!

But (knock on wood), I haven't been in a car accident in 18 years (and that was weather induced, not the result of distracted driving).

I don't recommend this level of multitasking for everyone, har har.

so this could be you.

Indigo said...

yeah... pretty much...

Let's see... I've eaten in the car, organized CDs, done my hair, shaved, whipped out the laptop and downloaded direction on how to get somewhere. I haven't made a pan flute, however, hee hee hee.

You are one dangerous driver. I hope I don't end up behind you.

Indigo said...

Pretty much. hee hee. Add my dissociative disorder to the mix and the thrills never end!

Little Lamb said...

Maybe you should give up driving. What if one of your other personalities wants to drive too?

Heh heh... We don't let Willow drive
