Things kids eat...

Once upon a time in blogland, the other day Serena Joy visited my blog. I visited her blog in return. She had a video of Mr. Bill. I remember him from Saturday Night Live. I watched the video. You have to feel sorry for him because he's always getting picked on. For example:

Serena posted having lunch with Mr. Bill. I didn't want to show the same one. I commented on her lunch. I went back to read the comments a few days later and found these comments from other bloggers.

Pug said: I love Mr. Bill !

I think there's a little Mr. Bill in all of us. Especially me. I ate a LOT of Play Doh as a pup. In fact, that might explain a couple of other things ...

Serena said: I don't know how much Play Doh I ingested, but that might explain my Bill Love. Oooooooooo! Nooooooooooooo!:-)

This got me thinking about what I put in my mouth as a little lamb. Whatever was in my hand would find its way to my mouth. I ate play dough, paste, glue, paper, crayons, whathaveyou.

First! Yeah! Eat Play Doh beotches!

Sorry. Got carried away. Especially on Lamby Cake's blog, which surpasses everyone's in terms of popularity.

Okay, Lamby, thanks for admitting to your indiscretions in the "earlier" years. I am more interested in recent times (apologies again ... you see, it's part of my "screening process").

What about the "recent times?"

Good pick of video, Lambkins. I love Mr. Bill. I love him when he's indiscreet. I love him when he's an innocent bystander. I want to bail him out when he gets in trouble, but that would ruin his whole persona, wouldn't it? Oooooooooooo!

I've eaten crayons and Play Doh and glue. I can still taste that thick white paste we used to use in school. And chalk. Lord only knows how much chalk I ate. I wonder if people would still respect me if I admitted to still having chalk cravings? Unlike my sisters, however, I never ate the mud pies we made.:)

chalk cravings? I never ate mud pies either, but dirt would cling to me. I still get pretty messy just eating. I don't know how it happens. You can dress me up, but you can't take me anywhere.

I'm just wanting to make sure you got past all of that nonsense and started treating you body like a temple. That's all.

"I was a paste eater. Okay, I admit it! So stone me if you must! But know this, that we paste eaters stick together, so if you must cast stones, there will be more than one of us to cast stones upon."

Oh, ok, so I'm not alone in eating strange things.

Pug ate paste. No throwing stones.

Pink ate dirt. If I had only known about eating dirt...

i can understand why it's easy to put playdough in the mouth too, it can be irrisistible.

i just lost my appetite ..
maybe a few lamb kebabs will right my appetite again.
a furry shepherd lost some lambs on his way back north ..
they're out yonder .. those lambs ..

Little Lamb said...

Sandy, you're welcome.

Little Lamb said...

Jump to conclusions? HA! What was he doing with wool in his mouth? Huh? Where is the missing flock of lambs? Huh? These probably are relatives to my own flock.

Little Lamb said...

I floss after eating sometimes, myself. Do you floss with wool?

Little Lamb said...

That proves nothing!

Little Lamb said...

Oh you do not!

darkfoam said...

i hear that steel wool is recommended for fangs ..

Little Lamb said...

Hmmmm, for fangs, huh?

dianne said...

You lot are cracking me up with your comments. Lol :)
I can just picture unfortunate looking Lon with a mouth full of wool but I cannot get my head around /t. flossing with steel wool, Lon should use that on his fangs.
Lil Lambie I told you Lon & /t. cannot be trusted & I'm starting to worry about Foamie!
Oh and as for Mr Bill, I feel so sorry for him; are the makers of this program sadists!?!

darkfoam said...

don't worry, dianne ..
foamie loves all lambs ..
alive, cloned, as well as bbqed..

dianne said...

well Foamie, I love little lambs too..alive and cloned but not bbqed..

The Phosgene Kid said...

I had a little stuffed Mr. Bill. He wasn't microwave safe though.

Little Lamb said...

Dianne, Foam is someone else for the lambs to worry about.

foam will eat lambs.

Phos! You didn't!

dianne said...

Lil Lamb I've had a word to Foam about her bad habit and how I cant condone the eating of lambs!

Has anyone sighted Lon lately and that flock of your cousins?

Little Lamb said...

The missing flock? No, no word. I think its that /t. that can't be trusted. I think he's only blaming Lon to take the suspicion off him.

dianne said...

eeeewwwww! Silence of the lambs, that's a worry, better check /t.'s freezer!

The Phosgene Kid said...

Kind of puts the slash in /t., eh? Looks like lamb's blood to me...

Skunkfeathers said...

Y'know...BBQed Mr. Bill would be like eating a stale biscuit.

Little Lamb said...

Dianne, maybe I should, but I'm afraid of what I'd find.

Phos, yes it does.

Skunky, bbq'd Mr. Bill? Oh no!

dianne said...

No Lil Lamb, I wasn't suggesting that you check /t.'s freezer you must not go near it. Maybe Phos & Skunky can look, at least we will know if they have come to a ghastly end or they're still missing. :)

boneman said...

Ma always told me to try everything on my plate.
"How will you know if you like it if you don't try it?" she would ask....

....somehow, that darn near makes sense, but, I've put some pretty weird things in my mouth.
Cottage cheese.
echk!
Liver.
double echk!
Yogurt.
eeeeuuuuu!
(Y'know, it's not the taste so much as it is the name. yo-gurt.
yoooo-gggrrrrt. Sounds like someone trying to throw up)
Raw fish.
echk!
I'm not feeling so good....
I think I have to go throw up, now.
See yua later.....

Little Lamb said...

Dianne, and I could end up in there too!

Boney, oh boney, poor baby.

The Phosgene Kid said...

Cottage cheese is ok, raw fish is good if prepped right. Ate buffalo burgers last night be cause we couldn't find any ground lamb...

Skunkfeathers said...

I adhere to Murphy's Law of Travel and BBQ: if you don't care where you're at, you ain't lost, and pass me the sauce.

But not for BBQ Mr. Bill...you build a house out of that..or could.

Little Lamb said...

Phos, Cottage Cheese? YUCK! I've never had buffalo burgers. You would actually tell me you ate lamb burgers if you did??!?

Skunky, and Mr. Bill is so cute.

boneman said...

Buffalo burgers?!?
So, did you brush the grass off them, first, when you pick them up off the ground?
I always heard they were good for keeping a fire going....

Y'know, I think you can make a burger out'a anything. It just gets down to: who will eat the burger?....
Even veggie burgers, which aren't bad. Slap them on a sausage sandwich and they're fine eatin'.

Why, I even heard cannibals make burgers out'a people, but, most won't eat clowns.
Yeah.
Say they taste funny?
(badump bump!)

dianne said...

I really enjoy veggie burgers. :)
