Separation Anxiety...

The Phosgene Kid gave me the idea for this post.

I think I get too attached to you guys. One day I was going through my blog roll and I couldn't get to one of your blogs. I like to see what each of you have posted, if anything, so I check up on you. I also look to see if there are any new comments.

As I said, one day I was going through my blog roll and came across someone who deleted their blog. Then I wen to see if I could see their profile. I saw their profile, but no blog listed. This person deleted his blog. (Boneman, who had Walking on Alligators) I was having withdrawal symptoms. I was pouty. I was thinking to myself, how will I ever get to see him again? I said to myself, Self, you'll just have to get over it. Bloggers do leave the blogging world. It happens. If Boneman wanted to have contact with me he'd get in contact with me. He knows where I blog.

As I was getting over Boneman, he left a message on my blog. See? He did get in contact. I was so excited. He thinks I didn't know he was gone. But little does he know...

So, I am attached to you all. All of you give me regular attention when you can. None of you ignores me. I'm glad. I like the attention all of you give me.

Maybe we all should exchange email address. My email is in my profile, so if you're interested, just drop me a line.

hi lambie pie - I'm attached to you too. I love your wooly wool and twitchy foot. I like how you relax in your lawn chair sipping lemonade :)

I checked up on you while I was in Kenya. I miss my blog pals whenever I'm away for too long.

Its a real hassle free (mostly) friendship we can get here - and we really get the heart of people, without all the blah blah bs.

So lambie - you can come visit me anytime and I'll come visit you too. Maybe we could die your wool pink for hallowe'en. It would be fun!

....good news, bad news....

Guy was in a terrible wreck, got thrown from his vehicle on the highway....traffic kept running over him, till finally they got him to the hospital.
They called his wife, she was frantic, she went to the hospital, the doctor came out and said, "well, I have good news and bad news,...which do you want first?"

She was feeling brave, so, "Give me the bad news, first, doc."

He said, "well, he was run over a lot of times, several vital organs were smashed or crushed. Brain damage, spinal damage...probably you'll have to dress him in the mornings, feed him, change his diapers, his catheter, dress his wounds for maybe five to ten years."

The color paled from her. A groan and a sad little face looked up and said, "what's the good news?"

Doc said, "I was really lying all along. He died at the site."

Dang!
The good news is I'll be glad to send my e-mail address (if you still want it after THAT joke) but, the bad news is, we have to wait till our e-mail is fixt.

(ps the joke came from Drew Carrey's book, Dirty Jokes and Drinking Beer, which I got at the half priced book store the other day. It's really quite funny...)

No, When I'm home I'm online most of the time. My computer lets me know when I have email so I know when someone replies to my stuff. I'm on aol and it lets me know when I have email.

Don't look at it as Boneman being gone, he's just posting in another dimension...

Little Lamb said...

He's really not gone. He's still with us at a different blog. He can also be in that other dimension, too.

It bothers me when folks quit and don't say goodbye.

I guess I take this stuff seriously as well.

Little Lamb said...

So I guess we're the same concerning our online friends.

This is a very sweet post Little Lamb, just like you. You know how to get in touch with me and vice versa! Hugs.

The Phosgene Kid said...

You are right LL. We're all friends, family of a sort, and it's tough to deal with when someone drops off the edge of the blog...

Little Lamb said...

Dan, this is very true.

Kid, that's right.

Lay back and take another sip of your drink LL, I am still here...

Little Lamb said...

I'm glad of that.

You guys getting any spin off from Dean? I heard on the news they are planning on bring the shuttle home early in case Huston has to bail, but I wonder if it won't affect Florida a bit as well...

Little Lamb said...

Right now, no signs of Dean. I hope it stays that way. It looks like it might miss us, butr we'll see. It could head toward Texas.

Yes, they're having the shuttle land a day early. If Houston has to bail, they'll come here from what I understand.

People stop blogging for all kindsa reasons. Me thiks it best iffin they could say goodbye first. Looks as if Boneman be a multi-dimentional kinda guy.

STOMP!
No, not on the lamb, of course.

Little Lamb said...

Ok, so why do they stop blogging?

Maybe they don't get attached to us.
