Lets Study some verses...
What do these verses tell us? Let’s take Isaiah 26:3 first, which says,
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
In order for us to have perfect peace, we must put our trust in God totally and always think about Him. God can be trusted and is trustworthy.
What do Ephesians 5:18 – 20 tell us?
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
We are to live a Spirit filled life. Also these verses go back to Isaiah 26:3. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. First of all, we are to be filled with the Spirit. You can get filled with the Spirit by speaking to yourself (thinking to oneself, reciting memorized scripture) psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart, being thankful for all things.
