It has been brought to my attention that all of you are scaring Little Lamb with all these lamb recipes you keep talking about.
This is how she feels when you talk about setting lambs on fire and cooking lambs. She feels like running away, but doesn't know which blogger to turn to. Every where she goes people try to set her on fire or cook her.
Now I think you're all reasonable people. I really don't think you want to eat her or set her on fire. I really don't know about that /t., though. With a mustache like he has it makes you wonder, ya know? I mean, now really, who puts a werewolf with lambs? All I'm asking is you show Little Lamb she's part of the gang. She want to know that she's loved among her peers.

Not Loved?
Seymour, don't be silly! We love Lambie to pieces.
I especially love the leg pieces, with a little mint sauce :)

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Can't you treat her like she's just another blogger? She doesn't like being referred to as food.
well...I'll try....but you know, I have to say...none of the other bloggers have Lambie's tenderness
;)

nice soup of seymour with lamb ;)
Try this recipe for Turtle soup...a Louisiana specialty!
1-1/2lbs turtle meat
2qts beef stock
2tsp Tabasco
1 large onion, chopped coarsely
2 ribs celery, chopped coarsely
1/4 can tomato puree
Put above ingredients into a 4uart stock pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer, and cook for 1 hour. Remove meat and de-bone, cut meat in half inch pieces and return to pot.
Then add:
2 bay leaves
2tsp mace
1-1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3cup sherry
Let cook for another hour.
Then add:
2 hard cooked egg whites chopped
1/2 cup parsley
Serve and enjoy!
that with some good grilled lamb...
and, man, am I hungry.
I'm ready to chow down.
and that recipe comes from www.crawfish.cc
Please convey to Ms. Lamb that she is not on my menu. I rather dislike the taste of mutton and have only consumed it during a religious ritual.
I didn't realise that Lambtoberfest was a religious occasion?

Try Passover, Ms. Pink.
/t does look a but like Snidely Whiplash from the Dudley Doright cartoons, but Snidely tied women to the rial road tacks, he didn't slow roast them over mesquite.
Just teasing LL, you know I like you a lot or I wouldn't keep coming back!!! Sorry if I hurt your feelings.
/t. That is so sweet.
Ruela, aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh!
faom, aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh!
SSN, you are a nice man.
Phos, all is forgiven Phos.

/t.

/t. he looks at one lamb in particular funny.
Kate, You have a point.
Skunky, thank you.
akshually, i've never had turtle soup...
and i would never eat seymour anyways. who could eat a turtle with a cute waggy tail like that.
That is so sweet of you foam, thanks!
Mmmmm, talking of lamb.... No joking, I don't like eating lamb, much nicer to see them in a field.
I agree.
Ok I'll admit it Lambie - I'm a vegetarian.
I only eat vegetables and fruits and legumes and chicken (which are dumb so they're kind of a vegetable) and seafood (which in french is a fruit - fruit de mer) oh and beef - well they're FED vegetables.
So, you see? You're safe with me.
We wuv our wambie!

No, I'm not! Chicken and beef are meat. Seafood is meat also, whether you know it or not. You don't fool me.
LL, I do think that everyone has it in for you and you should be careful of just who you hang around. Even Mary from the poem fame...I mean, have you ever listened to the poem all the way through? Sure everyone knows about the lamb following Mary all around, and going to school and all that...but what about 'The Rest of the Story'?
It's sad...the last verse is prolly being kept from you so you do not learn of the diabolical plan...it goes like this...
Mary found the price of meat
Was much too high to please her
Tonight she's having leg of lamb
The rest is in the freezer!!
So, as the X-Files say...Trust no one!!
LL,
the bace man
may be on to something
LL,
see you friday or saturday!

/t.
Bace man, Good point, thanks.
/t. Do we have something planned?
that type of poetry by the bace man sounds mighty familiar..
Wasn't that nice of him to give me good advice in the form of poetry?
I can not take credit for that particular stanza...I remember it from childhood but I'm not sure where it comes from...but here's one that is original...and not really good...
Little Lambs friends loved her much
And most of all liked to tease her
Joking, laughing and KID'in such
But grill her....never, ever!!
That is so sweet! It is too really good.
I've had snapping turtle, not too bad.
Sorry we raked you over the coals!!
No, you aren't, but its ok. This post was in jest too.
Yurtle the turtle, not just for breakfast anymore....
I'll have you know Seymour is a good shepherd for the lambs. He doesn't try to eat us.
Yet.
Wait till he crashes in the Andes and its only Seymour and Lambie left.
What you gonna do THEN, oh wooly one?
xx

PS you have a sweet singing voice.
We'll find grass to eat.
Thank you. La la lalalalalala la!
