Dear Skunky...

I got this in my spam folder. I know a blogger who loves to get these kind of emails. He makes fun of them and gets down right nasty with those who send them.

I would like Skunkfeathers to be my lawyer in this case.

Dear Customer, (Desn't the sender know my name? My name isn't customer.)

This email confirms that you have paid SH ENT (gdash1@gmail.com) $23.00 USD using PayPal.
(How does it confirm I paid SH ENT $23.00 USD using paypal? They don't even know my name. I don't have an account with PayPal. At one time I was thinking about setting one up. But that's all it has ever been, a thought.)

LL: these are of the "phishing" scam famdamily. The scammer hopes that you have a Pay Pal account, and will visit the link they have provided in the scam, so that you'll provide the scammer your Pay Pal account access, password, etc.

Treat it with the respect and attention it deserves: delete ;)

Or, you can reply to them as I do, in a very baaaaaaaaaaaaad Skunk mode LOL...

I was hoping you would do that for me.

Okay, Mr. Skunkfeathers of Howard, Fine, Howard, Skunkfeathers, Phulovit, Ungabunga, Frankoonsteen, Ewehoff, AaL, will send a letter to SH ENT to clarify this matter ;)

Little Lamb said...

Ok, thanks!

i just delete all that stuff..

Little Lamb said...

Normally I do too. But why not have a little fun at their expense? Skunky actually writes back to these lowlifes and sometimes, usually gets a response until they find out they're being made fun of. It's quite amusing.

Can I send him all mail about all money I will get if I just take care of a lot of money for rich Africans? Until they have arrived in Europe?

They just need my bank account number

:-D

Best to just delete the SPAM and not reply, it just confirms your e-mail address is valid for the spammer. Most SPAM is generated by Bot computers so the folks that own the computer aren't even aware their machine is being used to send out SPAM. The actual spammer is well hidden in Russia or the Ukraine and will never see your witty repartee.

Little Lamb said...

Then having my lawyer is a good idea. And its fun, too.

Pink said...

Maybe he's a BOT lawyer hiding in the Ukraine!

:-o

True. Remember others have seen me without my wool.

You may not be a mannequin either.

what! you and pink are not your avatars? i'm crushed. wait.. foam doesn't crush ... my bubbles just burst ..
but anywho, i just came by to see if you were having fun with your spam mail yet..

I like fried Spam sandwiches.

Little Lamb said...

foam, not yet, but we will be if they email Skunky back. Even if they don't he'll poke fun at them over at his place.

Phos, you may enjoy Skunky's replies to spammers then.

ok, LL... who is responsible for bursting foam's bubbles and making her all sudless?

/t.

Little Lamb said...

I have no idea, /t. Better go find out and report back to me. Then I can take care of whoever is responsible.

LL,

it was you
and that troublemaker,
the mannequin

/t.

Little Lamb said...

Oh no, /t.! Not them! Are you sure? Can you prove it? I always knew that mannequin was trouble maker, but a sweet innocent lamb?

Darn. I really wanted those shirts, so we could wear them together at night while eating popcorn and watching scary movies. Now the surprise is ruined.

Little Lamb said...

Maybe we can still get them. There's got to be another way.

ll, PayPal Security would like you to forward those emails to spoof@paypal.com and then delete them. I also forward such email to the anti-phishing work group at this address reportphishing@antiphishing.org

Good luck.

Phos's advice is of great value.

Little Lamb said...

True, but letting skunky deal with it first is fun.

I'll have to send it to them, too.
