Too Much Time Online...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I think I spend too much time online. I find myself forgetting to do things. Everyday simple little things, like run the dishwasher. I must find other interests. I don't watch much TV because that would cut into my time online and they're always switching TV shows around. I do watch Survivor, but when that's on I have the computer on and the computer wins out. I am an online junkie. I start to go to bed, but then wonder if someone online has emailed me. I go check to see if they did. I find they have! I have to quick respond.

All I need to do is take a few minutes and just relax away from the computer. I really need that quiet time. I can still be in contact with all of you with little or no change. I can still visit all your blogs. So why don't I do it?

Do any of you have any suggestions?

I'm the same exact way. A year ago I was 180 lbs, I've ballooned to 445 and a half--

The doctor said "a little less blogging & a little more jogging."

Crashtest Comic said...

Antipyschotic drugs (like Xanex) keep you from skipping so fast--I know that for a FACT! grrrrrwol

Little Lamb said...

I haven't gained weight. I do go to work. Gotta support the habit of blogging.

Lamby--
what should I do?
about my blog?

should i try to make friends or tell the Truth?

Little Lamb said...

It would be nice if you could do both. War is obviously upsetting you. I think you should do both, but if you can't, do what your heart tells you to do.

Crashtest Comic said...

Thanx Lamby--
That's exactly what I've always known I should do!

You're a real friend.

oh dear! now there's a poor stick figure banging his/her head into the wall! heavens! it's giving me a headache! ouch! stop that! waaaaah!

i think i need to learn how to add this animated stuff. how do you do this?

too much time online?

as long as you have relationships in the material world, you're ok.

or ....oops, i'm distracted by the head-banger again. can you make blood splatter from its head? huh, huh, can you? can you?

oh - now you are jumping rope to the right and above this comment box, and the headbanger is banging away to the left - and my eyes are darting back and forth between the two to see if he hits his head at the same time the rope slides under your hooves.....nope - it's not synchronized.

oh god stop! stop!

i think i'm spending too much time online.

i have to fly away now lambie....

flapflapflapflapflapswooooooooosh!

we forgot
to ask bird
if she is a tern

am pretty sure she is, though, because i googled 'tern' images and saw lots of birds that look a lot like her, so i'm pretty sure that she is indeed a tern

also, this is for you, little lamb

Turn! Turn! Turn!
by The Byrds, 1966

Words-adapted from the Bible, Book of Ecclesiastes, music by Pete Seeger

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear its not too late

Yes, that's in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - 8. I thought I sent that to you in an email.

/t is correct- i am a tern. but i a not a COMMON tern (we terns are quite class concous you know - also we have difficulty spelling). i am a very specific type of tern. i posted a detailed answer to your question, lambie "what kind of bird are you?" in the comments back at my blog.

clever googling there /t.

Little Lamb said...

Ok, I'll go check it out. Birds are interesting creatures.

Anonymous said...

bird,

conscious
( looked it up :)

and i hasten to add,
nobody here thought common -- i've always thought, she's a rare bird... that one thought about an odd duck being dispelled pretty quickly, and with thanks to clever googling...
