They look like fruit in trees ripe for the picking! To me, these birds are good for photos. And notice that wing spread! The underneath of their wings is white.
I don't know if these vultures stay put or not. I imagine these stay put because of the weather, even though it gets sort of cold. Plenty of food all year round I imagine.
More vultures Lamby dear, they have returned, do they go to warmer climates in the Winter? They are lovely photos of your blue sky and trees; I did not know that their wings were white underneath.

Ours came back quite quickly this year. Several towns have been deluged by the return of the Vultures.
Plenty to keep them fed, that's for sure.
Too many cars running over cute lil animals and such.

Yes, it is, that way they don't end up on the dinner list.
The underneath of their wings is white so you can't see them when it's snowing. Plus it makes it harder to see the poop as it exits the bird.
