That is such a beautiful heart warming story Lil Lamb, the guys must have felt overwhelmed with emotion & happiness when they were re-united and Christian remembered them. Love & kindness are never forgotten, what a beautiful lion. :) xoxox
ps: wondering if a that had been a lamb they raised that they released back into the flock .. if the sheep would recognize them and greet them like that a year later ..
I've given this touching video some thought, and I think we need to adopt a more scientific approach to evaluating it.
The reason is: how do we know that particular lion isn't friendly to anyone who just happens to be passing by?
So I recommend that we use a test subject that the lion hasn't met before (/t. for example).
We will have /t. dress in the exact same khaki shirt and blue jean outfit, and place him in the same spot. Then - just to ensure that he catches the lion's attention - we will fill his pockets with fresh, raw hamburger meat.
If the lion approaches /t. and does not repeat the same behavior as depicted in the video, we will have our confirmation that the lion did indeed remember the men.

That's why I loved this video so much.
heart
warming, LL
it begs the question,
will the lamb lie down with the lion?
and if a lamb falls into the lion den and nobody is there to hear it scream, would this be the silence of the lamb?
life is full of these big questions, LL
thank you

Thank you, /t. I thought so too.
One day the lion and the lamb will lay down together and they will be safe together. There will be no silence of the lambs, or lions for that matter.
Yes, /t. life is full of BIG questions. Wondering minds what to know.
thank you again, LL,
for answering my big questions
you know, i think that you animals are a whole lot smarter than we humans give you credit for

This was very touching, Lamby. I really enjoyed it.
I can't help but wonder if Whitney Houston would give me the same reception after all of these years.
Foam, thank you. I loved it myself.
Possibly.
/t. I'm not going to pay attention to that one.

sounds good to me. Let's try it and see what happens.
sounds good to me. let's try it with ground lamb in my pockets and see what happens.
/t.
Ground lamb doesn't do it for me.
Indigo Incarnates
It would have been cooler if the humans would have gotten eaten, heh heh.
Oh dear, Indigo!
If a wolf can play leapfrog with sheep, anything is possible.
Good point.
I'm with Indigo - I was waiting for the 'wife' to eat the humans. Guess thats my sense of humour showing
xx
pinks
Oh dear, Pink!
Normally predators aren't much good as food, but fried in a little lamb fat I think some lion steaks might be passable.
:-0 What kind of thing is that to say??!? :-0
I love that video and Christian's story.
yawn, lion, recognizes old friends. doesn't eat them. Got it...
Is this your way of saying its time for a new post?
i wonder if lion cubs are bbqable...
All you people think about is eating.
still love animals ;)
Me too!
