Little Lamb's little lamb...

Little Lamb had a little lamb. It's fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Little Lamb went the lamb was sure to go.

They spent their time together.

Little Lamb would give her little lamb piggy back rides. (or would that be lamb back rides?)

Little Lamb got tired doing things all day while her little lamb still wanted to play. So Little Lamb's little lamb decided to play king of the lamb.

Everytime I pay good money to experience what the smaller lamb in these photos does, I end up getting fleeced.

ok, well, I was digging in the garden when I saw a farmer walking by with a lamb that had a wooden leg.
A LAMB with a wooden leg!
I asked him how that came about and he says, one day while he's plowing the fields (the farmer, not the lamb) that his tractor overturned on him and had him pinned good! Gas was dripping, the engine was still running, it was all a sign of sure disaster. Well, sir, the lamb saw the tractor and ran down the hill to save the farmer, fell several times down the steep hill where the guy lay under the tractor.
The lamb grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled and pulled and pulled, and finally got him free, got him dragged to a safe distance when the tractor suddenly blew up, knocking the lamb unconcious.
"WOW!" I say, "is that when he got his wooden leg?"
"No," said the farmer, and proceeded to tell me about how one night after everybody was asleep, a fire started in the kitchen downstairs. Well that lamb got a running start and jumped through the front window and made enough ruckus to wake up folks in the next county. They put out the fire before it had done too much damage, and everybody was OK.
"Wow!" again, I was amazed. "Is THAT when he got the wooden leg?"
"Nope."
(Dang it, some farmers are so tight lipped y'gotta peel everything out'a them....like a tight peeling on a tangerine.)
"Well? How DID he get a wooden leg?"
"well, young feller," he drawled back at me, "when you got a lamb THAT good, you don't want to eat him all at once...."

Cute little lambs.

Don’t tell him, but someone who saw the video I shot of Alex eating grass said that he looked like a lamb. (Alex is purr-fectly happy being a cat).

Little Lamb said...

Thank you. How does Alex feel about lambs? Maybe he can be the lamb's watch cat.

Thank you, Ruela. I have to learn how to do movies with this camera.

I believe that Alex has a positive feeling for lambs—much more positive that he have for wolves and coyotes. He wished all blogging lambies happy Easter on his blog.

I'll have to pay him a visit.
