I have arrived home from vacation. I had an excellent time. It was nice to see my relatives again. I can't enough of them. I have a very nice family. We went to the 6th floor museum where President Kennedy was shot and that was really interesting. It told about his presidency and what he did in office. I saw the very spot where he was shot and where the gunman did the shooting.
We also went to visit Southfork and saw the mansion. It doesn't look very big in person. Inside is even smaller but that, too was interesting.
Ok, let me see if I can find some pictures to show you. And right now I can't. I made a mistake by putting them in Adobe photoshop album starter and can't get them out. I also deleted them from the disc I used to take the pictures.
There's got to be a way to do this.

LL, it sounds like you had a terrific time. I always wanted to visit the building from which JFK was shot. I sure hope you can figure out how to get some photos up. That would be very cool!
Welcome back! I missed you! You're very sweet!
so,
did you
see the very spot
where JR was shot?
or not?
/t.
Dan, I'll have to figure it out. You're very sweet for missing me.
/t. No I don't think so. But I do have the picture of the gun that shot him.
ok,
that's cool, LL
though it would be really cool if you had the bullet...
/t.
LL, how can I not miss someone as sweet as you? :)
/t, I have the bullet. But don't tell anyone. I'm not supposed to have it. Shhhhhh!
I once did some work in a school book depository. As I walked by a window, a bullet whizzed through and just missed me. So I ran to the next window over to see who shot it, and it was JFK Jr.! Apparently this type of horseplay happened all the time with that rowdy bunch.
Dan, you are so sweet for returning. You're a sweetie anyway.
Pug, I have no doubt about that whatsoever. They were rowdy in their day.
LL, I'm blushing. :) I came back for a third helping of sweetness. Hope you don't mind!
No, Dan, of course not. You can come back as often as you like.
So you went to the school book suppository? What about the grassy hole where the second gunman was hiding? Or the mossy stump where the third gunman was perched?
I probably saw all that.
So many Kennedys so few bullets.
Glad you had a nice time. I've been to Texas several times and the fun factor was pretty low. All right, running down armadillos on the highway was kind of a hoot though.
You know, Kid, we didn't see one armadillo.
I just ran out of cashews! May I borrow some? :)
Southfork! I would love to go there.
I remember watching the news reports of the shooting. I was a little kid, but I cried.
LL,
armadillos?
i think phos got 'em all
/t.
Dan, will that be chocolate covered or plain, or roasted?
jali, I loved it. I was scared after I heard JFK was shot. I was afraid they would come after me.
/t. that might explain why I didn't see any on my trip to Texas.
I found you through Dan. I am a HUGE sheep fan---I LOVE your blog! It's so cute with all the little sheep all over it! :)
Thank you very much.
I found you through Dan as well. Just had to stop in and see someone called Little Lamb. And look, you've got bouncing little sheep all over the place here! Cute. Very cute.
Thank you, you're welcome to come and visit anytime.
