If you're short of ideas, I'd say post about something you don't like. Negative reactions to things can make better posts than positive ones - people can get more passionate and it's easier to "tap into" on a whim, you know?
When I'm stuck I go away and just think for ten, fifteen minutes. After a while my brain is "warmed up" and it's easier to think of things to post.
You don't have to move everything. Just start a new blog with the template you want. Then completely delete the template from this blog. Then copy and paste the template code from the new blog to this blog.
You'll lose your links, clock, and chat box, but all your old posts will still be there.

Hope that helps

It does help, RM, thank you.
The calendar is still there, Lambie.

I thought I got rid of it Rain.
MD, I don't want to move. I want everything I have except the calendar. I want it all.
Starting a new blog is moving.
I TOLD YOU, YOU DON'T HAVE TO MOVE!
Oh, I give up.
Lambie, check out this web site. You might like one of the templates here. This is the site where I got my template.

Dyck is right; you don't have to move. Just follow the directions.
